This fast-paced, highly informative and entertaining program represents the best national radio broadcast for everyone interested in motorcycling — from long-time enthusiasts to seasoned race-watchers to newbies.
The content follows the same wide breadth of coverage readers have been getting from Cycle World Magazine and cycleworld.com for years.
From dirt to street to track, from custom bikes to wild adventures, from great tips on new products to legislative and legal issues affecting all motorcyclists — Cycle World Radio is your place to stay tuned in to what's happening in our world.
It's the only place on the dial to consistently hear leading industry insiders, pro racers and award-winning customizers as well as a collection of great motorcycling characters talk about their lives on two wheels. Listeners will also enjoy hearing from the seasoned experts on the Cycle World editorial team.
Some of the illustrious motorcyclists who have already been Steve's guests on the show include Kenny Roberts, Nicky Hayden, Colin Edwards, Jeremy Burgess, Ben Bostrom, Bob "Hurricane" Hannah, Mat Mladin, Rickey Gadeson, Ryan Villapoto, Roland Sands, Danny Eslick, Chris Carr, Rocky Robinson, and many other luminaries, champions, tuners, builders, designers and manufacturers.
"We've enjoyed bringing the pages of readers' favorite motorcycle magazine to the airwaves," said Editor-in-Chief Mark Hoyer. "Between the printed word, our website and the radio show, we're the full-coverage source for motorcycle information and entertainment."
Most of the time, Cycle World Radio is broadcast live from its studio at the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles, allowing listeners to call in and interact with guests. Periodically, programs are pre-recorded at big motorcycle events like rallies and charity rides, or at various races. Steve also brings you coverage from major events like the Cycle World International Motorcycle Shows and the annual Dealer Expo.
Cycle World Radio can be heard on AM and FM in 50 broadcast markets nationwide on the Radio America Network. It airs every Saturday evening, 5–6 p.m. Pacific, 8–9 p.m. Eastern.
